RIP Papa D July 25, 1946 ~ June 2, 2012
My father passed away at his home on June 2, 2012. He passed away of congestive heart failure. This blog helped by dad get through his cancer being able to share his fight and progress. DeleteHi my name is Bergy and I knew your Dad from recipezazz. I loved his positive recipes and his up beat attitude all through his cancer chemo treatments. It all sounded so positive. It has shocked me to hear that he is gone. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I send my my prayers to you, his remaining family and his friends

I'm so sorry your father has passed away. I knew him from Food.com as he was very active in the game forums and he also posted his fabulous food photos. He will be greatly missed. You and your family are in my prayers.

Tanya and family...I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was a spirit unmatched in the food forums. I "met" him through food.com/recipezaar where he always had a kind word for anyone. He will be missed by many online friends.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a great guy & added much fun to the events & contests he participated in. Several of his recipes have a permanent place in my menu rotation. ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear of your father's passing. I ran across this while looking for a squash recipe. I missed knowing your dad by 22 days and he sure sounded like a great man from his blog. My friend is going thru a similar situation and all the words and terms sound the same. What happened in the month of May...it sure sounded like he beat the cancer? My prayers are with you!
